If you do opt to send out baby announcements the traditional way, you have to be aware of certain conventions with regard to the custom. It is good idea to send out baby announcements no later than two weeks after the birth of your child for instance. You may also want your baby announcements to conform to a few "traditionally accepted" motifs.
